BIO
BIO & UNIVERS
Emeline Mougeot, known by her pseudonym "Emyart's," is a French artist born in Le Chesnay on February 8, 1992. She has emerged as a prominent figure among contemporary female artists. Her work, characterized by vibrant colors and striking contrasts, explores the nuances between dream and reality, shadow and light, the biological and the digital, creating a captivating visual universe. Passionate about futuristic aesthetics and science, some of her creations explore the dynamic between humanity and emerging technologies. She also addresses other themes, such as the "Metamorphosis" series, which connects humans and animals through transparent compositions.
After studying at the École Boulle in Paris from 2011 to 2016, Emy began a career in the luxury sector, specifically as a High Jewelry designer. However, her love of drawing led her to broaden her creative horizons and explore the world of art in all its forms, particularly street art.
TECHNIQUES
It is through the use of oil pastels directly on the walls that she has developed a unique style, characterized by a fascinating textural rendering, blending material, color, and transparency. This particular technique, which she applies to both canvas and murals, lends her creations a singular sensory dimension.
For her large-scale mural projects, Emy perfects her technique by adapting
"the pastel effect"
in painting, using brushstroke hatching to create visually dynamic and immersive compositions.
